Flotsam Farm is an 8 acre property in rural south central MO that serves as a community hub for a diverse group of Ozarkers. Project stewards Amelia LaMair and Eric Tumminia build community and culture by hosting fun, inclusive events that offer social connection; promote music and the arts; provide opportunities for lifelong learning; support health and wellness, and demonstrate resilience, sustainability, justice, and mutual aid. Flotsam Farm’s Community Building features a large gathering space, kitchenette, guest room, bathroom, children’s play-space, music and recording equipment, and a large library of books, periodicals, and movies.

The Sycamore Salon, a free community night consistently draws 10 to 35 folks each week for a potluck dinner and educational program. Flotsam Farm also hosts 3 annual music festivals, twice-monthly yoga classes, and semi-monthly sweat lodges. In 2023, Flotsam Farm hosted over 50 community events, with over 40 musical acts performing.
